Motorcyclist dies after colliding with fallen tree

High Common in Cranworth. The road is at a junction with Hook Lane. There is a white road sign on the left which says HIGH COMMON. Next to it is a sign post directing motorists left to Hardingham and right to Cranworth. On the junction to the right is Hook Lane which has it's own road sign.Image source, Google

A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a fallen tree.

Norfolk Police said it was called to reports a red Honda XR125 motorcycle travelling towards Mile Road, past the junction of Hook Lane, collided with a fallen tree on High Common in Cranworth, near Watton, at 05:40 BST on Wednesday.

The force said a man in his 20s was declared dead at the scene. The road was closed.

It has appealed for dashcam footage and has urged witnesses to get in touch.
