Several people have been injured in a crash on A388 near Saltash

Three people are injured following a three-vehicle crash in Cornwall, police have said.

The crash happened on the A388, near Tamar View Nurseries at Carkeel, Saltash, at about 14:35 GMT, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

The force said a man, woman and child were injured but the severity of their injuries was not known.

Police said the A388 had been blocked in both directions, with long delays reported near the Tamar Bridge.

Tamar Crossings said on X, external the crash on the A388 had cleared and west-bound delays had eased.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said three vehicles were involved in the crash, including a car that had overturned.

Motorists reported long delays near the Tamar Bridge but traffic has since eased.
