All lanes on the M2 northbound have reopened following a five-vehicle crash between Fortwilliam and Greencastle.
The collision caused long delays on the M2 and across greater Belfast during rush hour on Thursday evening.
The vehicles involved in the collision were later moved to the hard shoulder.
However, knock-on delays remained on the motorway, as well as the M3, A12 and M1 for quite a while.
