The M5 was partially closed in Devon following a lorry fire, National Highways confirmed.

Two of the four lanes were closed southbound between junction 30 (Exeter) and junction 31 (Ide) but were reopened at about 18:10 GMT.

The lorry had been carrying hay bales which caught fire.

Lanes one and two had been closed to allow specialist equipment on the scene to clear the burnt hay.
