Two taken to hospital after early morning crash

East of England Ambulance Service paramedics were called to Lowestoft following a crash

Two people were seriously injured following a crash in the early hours of the morning.

Eemergency services were called to Tom Crisp Way in Lowestoft, Suffolk, after two cars crashed just after 00:30 GMT on Sunday.

An air ambulance and the fire service were called to the scene and three people were removed from the vehicles.

One patient was taken by road to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston-on-Sea in Norfolk, while one other was also taken by road to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. The road reopened about six hours later.
