Spring tides spark coastguard warning

People have been warned to take "extra caution" along Jersey's coast after large spring tides were forecast.
Jersey Coastguard said on Facebook, external tides of more than 12m (39.4ft) are expected in the coming days along with strong winds.
It urged people to be aware of tide times, keep an eye on water levels and to let another person know your plans and when you are expecting to return.
"With large spring tides over 12m expected in the coming days, and strong winds forecast, please be extra cautious if you're planning on exploring the coast," the coastguard said.
