A former PC is accused of making unauthorised searches on police computers and corruption offences.
Armaan Ahmed has been charged with computer misuse and corrupt or other improper exercise of police powers and privileges and is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Mr Ahmed, 24, was a PC in the Calderdale district when he was arrested on 22 June 2022, West Yorkshire Police said.
He resigned from the force two days later, a spokesperson said, with Mr Ahmed remaining subject to a separate misconduct investigation.
