Arrest made after body found in missing man search

A body has been found and an arrest made in the search for a missing 21-year-old man.

Max Walsh's body was discovered in the village of Snarestone, Leicestershire, on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Mr Walsh was reported missing after he failed to return home from his workplace in Dordon, Warwickshire, on Thursday, which is where he had last been seen. Police said his body was found near to where his vehicle was found on Friday.

His death is being treated as unexplained and a 66-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery, police said.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but police believed it to be Mr Walsh.

His family are being supported by specialist officers.

Police have not said why the 66-year-old man was arrested.
