Man taken to hospital after being hit by bus
The collision happened on Tuesday afternoon on High Street, Smethwick, police said

A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a bus.
The collision happened just before 3.30pm on Tuesday on High Street, Smethwick, West Midlands Police said.
The force added that they were carrying out enquiries about the collision.
Paramedics treated the pedestrian at the scene and he was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment, the ambulance service said.
