Fire from garden sheds spreads to roof of home

The fire engulfed garden sheds before spreading to the roof of a house, camper van and car

Firefighters from across the Isle of Wight have tackled a fire that started in garden sheds and spread to the roof of a home.
Crews from five stations were sent to the blaze on Desmond Price Close in Lake on Thursday shortly before 19:00 BST.
The fire service said the fire also damaged a camper van and a car parked by the house. No injuries were reported.
People living nearby were urged to keep their windows and doors closed throughout the evening due to smoke.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service said its control room received about 20 emergency calls reporting the blaze.
It said crews left the scene shortly after 22:00, returning on Friday morning to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
