Two men, 19, charged with kidnap and assault

Two 19-year-old men have been charged with kidnap and assault following an investigation in the Lake District.
Police in Cumbria said the charges related to an inquiry that took place between Friday and Sunday in the Windermere area.
One of the men, from Blackpool, has been charged with kidnap, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, sexual assault and two counts of theft.
The second man, from Manchester, was charged with kidnap, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of theft.
Both appeared at Carlisle Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The men have been remanded in custody until an appearance at Carlisle Crown Court on 25 March.
