A woman celebrating her 70th birthday had to be rescued by the coastguard after falling down a mountain.
The woman fell down near Skew Gill in the Lake District on Monday at about 16:30 BST and injured her leg and hip, according to Keswick Mountain Rescue Team.
Following medical attention from the Great North Air Ambulance Service, a coastguard helicopter flew the woman to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle for treatment.
The mountain rescue team wished the woman a "swift recovery" and a "belated happy birthday".
It said 15 team members were involved in the rescue and it took about four hours.
