Woman flown to hospital after St Austell crash

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and a lorry.
The incident happened on Cleers Hill, near Whitemoor, at about 10:30 BST.
Crews from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service had to cut the woman free from her vehicle using specialist equipment.
She was taken to Derriford Hospital by Cornwall Air Ambulance.
A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said appliances from St Austell, Padstow and Bodmin attended the incident.
"Crews used stabilising equipment and crash rescue equipment to extricate the casualty from the vehicle," they added.
Devon and Cornwall Police said the woman had sustained serious injuries.
They said a road closure was put in place following the incident.
The road reopened at about 14:35 BST.
