A man has been taken to hospital with head and shoulder injuries after a fight which also damaged a kebab van.

Wiltshire Police were called to the Boscombe Down Road area in Amesbury at 22:00 BST on Saturday to a report of a large number of people fighting.

The force said fencing at Boscombe Down Recreation Club was damaged in the disorder.

Officers are appealing for information - witnesses and people with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage are urged to come forward.
