Gig in memory of former drummer with MND to be held

A charity concert celebrating the life of a former musician and filmmaker is being held this weekend.
Rob ‘n’ Roll - a night to remember, will honour the memory of Weymouth-based former musician and filmmaker, Rob Goodwin.
It will also be raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).
Mr Goodwin died of the disease in 2022, at the age of 68.
The event will take place in the Ocean Room at the Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday 18 May.
Two bands which Mr Goodwin had previously played in will be performing at the gig.
Weymouth band Replay and Berkshire-based group The Monty make up the bill for the concert.
Mr Goodwin's widow Jane organised the event alongside his friend and former-bandmate Ed Hintze.
He said: "For around seven years I was in The Monty with Rob and I shared many laughs on the drive to and from gigs. Over the years, Rob became a very close friend and we'd regularly meet up in between gigs for a curry in Weymouth."
Mr Hintze added: "Foremost, the gig is to remember Rob and his love of music. We hope that there will be laughter, singing and dancing throughout the evening."
"We also want to highlight Motor Neurone Disease and how cruel and quickly it can take control of your life," he added.
Mr Goodwin's son Jack will emulate his father by playing the drums in The Monty at the concert - even using his dad's old kit.
