Police have made a renewed appeal for help to find a Leeds United fan who went missing over the bank holiday weekend.

Allyn Grayson, 50, was last seen at the Head of Steam pub on Park Row in the city centre at around 17:30 BST on Saturday 4 May.

Mr Grayson, from Rothwell, had gone to watch Leeds play at Elland Road against Southampton earlier that day, before going to the pub with a friend.

However, he left the pub suddenly without explanation, officers said.

He was seen on CCTV around Lands Lane and Briggate a short time later.

Det Insp Ciaran Burns, from West Yorkshire Police, said: “It is completely out of character for Allyn to go missing like this and we are carrying out extensive enquiries to find him.

“His family are anxiously waiting for any news, and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen him since Saturday teatime or who has any information that could assist in tracing him."

Mr Grayson is described as being 5ft 10in tall with short mousey brown hair.

He was wearing a black Hugo Boss jacket, green top, indigo blue jeans and white Diadora trainers with red and blue stripes.
