Paul Davinson, 49, died in hospital after what police described as a "disturbance"

A man and a woman have admitted killing a 49-year-old man in West Yorkshire.

Paul Davinson died in hospital shortly after police were notified of a "disturbance" on Smithson Street in Rothwell, Leeds, on 9 March.

Cheryl Long, 46, pleaded guilty to manslaughter at Leeds Crown Court on Tuesday, with co-defendant Stephen Long, 49, also admitting the charge at an earlier hearing.

The pair, both of Prospect Place, Rothwell, are due to be sentenced on 3 October.
