Two people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an assault in Lincoln.

Officers were called to an address in Monks Road on Sunday, where a man in his 30s was found with serious injuries.

Lincolnshire Police said a 28-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman were arrested on Friday.

Both remained in custody for questioning, the force added.
