Officer denies making indecent images of children

A Suffolk Police officer has pleaded not guilty to making indecent images of children.

Robert Askew, 26, appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court charged with three counts of making indecent photographs/pseudo photographs of a child.

The alleged offence is said to have occurred in August and he has been suspended from duty.

The officer, who lives near Bury St Edmunds, was released on unconditional bail with a provisional trial date set for 27 May.
