Five fire engines and height vehicle were sent to a bungalow fire in Whitstable on Wednesday morning.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called to The Warren shortly after 08:00 GMT where they used main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

Secamb said paramedics assessed and treated one patient at the scene before discharging them from their care.

KFRS said the cause of the fire is under investigation, but it is believed to be accidental.
