A charity is seeking volunteers to create an archway whilst wearing inflatable "donkeycorn" outfits during a pride event in September.

Liberate Guernsey said it needed 50 people to wear the outfits, a mix between a Guernsey donkey and a unicorn, for the archway to see off pride brides leaving their wedding ceremony on the main stage.

Organisers said it believed it would be the first time in the world couples would be legally married on a pride stage.

The annual event is due to take place in Guernsey on Saturday 7 September.

Liberate said those signing up to volunteer needed to be at least 5ft (1.5m) and if under 18 needed a parent or guardian to also take part.

Islanders can sign up online, external or in person from 2 to 6 September at a Smith Street pop up shop.
