Hospital worker denies patient sex assaults

A healthcare assistant has pleaded not guilty to three charges of sexually assaulting two patients while at work.
Twinkle Parappully worked at Southend University Hospital when the alleged offences took place in October 2024 and September 2025.
The 46-year-old, of Silverdale Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea, is accused of targeting a woman on two occasions and a man on one occasion.
A trial was fixed at Basildon Crown Court for 18 January 2027 and he has been told he cannot enter the hospital while on bail.
