Storm warning prompts closure of Via Gellia

Part of Via Gellia Road is set to close at 06:00 GMT on Friday

A section of Derbyshire's Via Gellia Road is to close to traffic on Friday due to forecast high winds.
Derbyshire County Council said the expected stormy conditions had led to safety concerns on the tree-lined section of the A5012.
As a result the road will be closed between Clatterway towards Bonsall to the junction with the B5056 at Grangemill from 06:00 GMT.
The authority said the road will stay closed until the forecast winds and rain have passed through and tree inspectors have had a chance to address the situation.
In a statement, the council said: "We realise that this will be a real inconvenience to those who regularly use this road, but public safety comes first. Diversions will be in place."
