Channing Tatum heaps praise on Wrexham after visit

Hollywood actor Channing Tatum has shown his appreciation for Wrexham, saying the team and city's outlook and optimism made him want to stay forever.
Tatum said the trip to Wrexham was something he would "never forget".
"The team and town have a sense of optimism and a ride or die loyalty that made me want to stay forever," he wrote on Instagram.
It's not the first time the actor has visited the city, after Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and actor Rob McElHenney bought League One side Wrexham AFC.

The Magic Mike star said he spent a "few days and nights" in the north Wales city adding: "What Ryan Reynolds @vancityreynolds and @robmcelhenney have done for the community in Wrexham is magic.
"Incredible work, Ryan and Rob. Good people build good things.
"And thanks to the many beautiful people of Wrexham. Up the town!"
His post follows a reel where he is seen in Wrexham AFC's changing room telling the players to drink up their Stok Cold Brew coffee - one of Wrexham AFC's official sponsors - before working on their celebration dances.

Wrexham have soared since Reynolds and Rob McElhenney completed their takeover in 2021.
Wrexham have gone from the National League - the fifth tier of football - back into the Football League, after a 15-year absence.
They won promotion from League Two at the first attempt and currently stand third in League One.
