Nine people have been injured after a fire on a residential boat on the River Thames.

The fire on the River Thames near Lechlade, Gloucestershire, happened just before 12:00 BST on Saturday, Wiltshire Police, which is leading the investigation, said.

Nine people were injured and taken to hospital.

The force said a section of the river was closed and inquiries were ongoing.
