Family's lucky escape after car overturns in crash

A mother and child escaped a two-vehicle crash unharmed after a car overturned.

Avon and Somerset Police was called to Kent Street in Cheddar, Somerset, at 8:45 GMT, after reports of a two-vehicle collision.

Officers closed the road for several hours while the vehicle was recovered. A witness said a mum and child had been inside the overturned car.

No injuries were reported and the route re-opened at 10:54, police confirmed.
