A man has been found not guilty of stabbing three people.

Three men aged 26, 37 and 39 were left with life-changing injuries on Southall Road, Wolverhampton, after the attack in June 2022.

Joshua Francis, 23, of Dunstable, Bedfordshire, was found not guilty of three counts of section 18 wounding with intent at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday.

He was also cleared of possessing an offensive weapon in public.

His co-defendant, Myckel Betty, 21, of Stoke-on-Trent, pleaded guilty to possessing an offensive weapon and to one count of wounding with intent.

He was found guilty of a second count of wounding with intent and was found not guilty for a third count.

Betty is due for sentencing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 9 July.
