Yellow thunderstorm warning in place for Devon

A yellow warning for thunderstorms and heavy showers across Devon has been issued by the Met Office.
The Met Office has warned of possible disruption until to 21:00 BST on Tuesday.
There could be some travel disruption, with a chance of delays and some cancellations to train and bus services, Met Office forecasters have said.
It has warned the storm could also cause spray and sudden surface water flooding, which could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Risk of flooding
A Met office spokesperson said: "Heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop during the afternoon across parts of southwest England, Wales and the West Midlands before slowly dying out during the evening."
They added that many places would miss the worst, but where they did develop, some slow-moving and intense downpours were possible, with as much as 20-30 mm falling in about one hour.
Frequent lightning strikes and hail are also possible, forecasters have said.
The spokesperson added: "There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost."
There is also said to be a "small chance" that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with a risk of damage to some buildings from lightning strikes, floodwater, hail or strong winds.
