Five roads converge at the edge of Nottingham

  • Published

Almost three weeks of overnight closures will be needed for roadworks where five roads meet on the edge of Nottingham.

The busy junction of the A609 Trowell Road and Nottingham Road, A6002 Bilborough Road and Coventry Lane, and Wollaton Vale will see resurfacing work carried out from 1 July.

It will mean all five roads need to shut to traffic from 20:00 BST each night.

Roads will then reopen at 06:00, with nightly closures needed until 20 July.

Traffic heading south will be diverted along the A6007 Ilkeston Road and the A52 Derby Road, while northbound drivers will head along Glaisedale Drive, Wigman Road, Strelley Road, Woodhouse Way and Gin Close Way.
