A new homeless charity in Guernsey is looking to recruit its CEO.

At Home In Guernsey was launched in February to offer one-to-one support to people who are homeless and those who are at risk of being so.

The charity said it was set to be "fully up and running" by late 2024, and had started recruiting for its CEO via the media and the launch of its new website and logo.

Chair Jane St Pier said it was "looking for a leader that can truly relate to this cause".

She said: "‘We are doing a lot of work behind the scenes to get the charity up and running and are very pleased to be in a position to start recruiting.

"Experience of working in the third sector is desirable but not essential."

Junior designer Bronnie James created the new logo to symbolise a "welcoming, caring nature".

She said: "The secure feeling of being safe at home is one which should be experienced by everyone.

"It was important to also show the charity's aim to help people find secure housing, which is signified by the linking of their arms to create the apex of the roof."
