Boy, 13, arrested for having kitchen knife on him

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after officers found a kitchen knife on him, Devon and Cornwall Police has said.
The force said officers were on patrol in Bodmin, in Cornwall, when members of the public told them "a young male [was] in possession of a knife".
Officers found, detained and searched the boy, police said.
The force added: "This result is thanks to information provided by the community to help tackle serious violence."
