New road closures around Armley Gyratory announced

A series of road closures will be put in place around Leeds' Armley Gyratory next month, as work on a new footbridge spanning the junction starts.
The bridge, the second of three to be built in the area, will be constructed between Monday 13 May and Sunday 19 May.
Leeds City Council said it had timed the works to minimise disruption and said drivers should plan ahead.
The new bridge, named the Spence Lane footbridge, will be almost 33 metres long and cross over the A643.
The bridge's parts will be transported to the junction over the course of the week, before the structure is then assembled on site, the council said.
As a result, the A643 northbound carriageway will be closed from junction 2 of the M621 to the gyratory every night during the week, between 20:00 BST and 05:30 BST.
It will then be closed again between 19:00 BST on Saturday 18 May and 10:00 BST on Sunday 19 May, with an additional closure in place at the Wortley Lane junction during that time.
'Transformative changes'
The gyratory exit to Wellington South will also be closed, with traffic running on one lane around the gyratory to allow for sufficient working space.
Signposted diversions will be in place, the council said.
Gary Bartlett, the authority's chief officer for highways, said: "We thank everyone for their ongoing patience while we continue to work hard to minimise disruption and thank those who have already changed the way they travel into and around the city centre.
“These bridges work represent transformative changes to the overhead footways for people walking and wheeling – making it easier to get across the gyratory, either going or away from the city centre."
