A woman has paid tribute to her "selfless, thoughtful and incredibly kind" brother who died in a house fire.

Ryan Blackwell suffered fatal injuries after the blaze broke out in Charles Witt Avenue, Hereford on 4 July, and he was confirmed dead at the scene.

Mr Blackwell's sister Jayde Brown said the 33-year-old would be sorely missed and the family are "deeply shocked and devastated by his sudden passing."

A man previously arrested on suspicion of his murder has been released from bail and no further action will be taken against him, West Mercia Police said.

Mr Blackwell's death will now be referred to the coroner and the cause of his death investigated.

Det Insp Catherine Taylor said: “Following extensive enquiries and post-mortem results, there will be no further criminal investigation in relation to the fire.

"This has been a tragic incident for all concerned and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time."
