Man charged over death of pedestrian hit by lorry

A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged over the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a lorry.
Robert Shira-Gibb, 84, was struck by a white Isuzu Grafter flatbed truck on Glasgow Road in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire, on 19 December last year.
Mr Shira-Gibb, who lived in Blantyre, died in hospital the following day.
Police Scotland said a report would be be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
