Scammers take almost £1m in one week, say police

Almost £1m has been taken from people in Jersey by scammers in one week, police have said.
Fraudsters have claimed to be from the NatWest fraud team, States of Jersey Police said.
The force said scammers contacted local businesses and instructed staff to log into their online banking, claiming there was an issue with their company account.
It said fraudsters told employees to enter a fake URL before gaining control and transferring funds out of the account.
Police have urged islanders to be vigilant and never give anyone remote access to devices.
Officers said: "A bank will never ask a customer to download anything or ask them to login to any specific websites.
"If a customer is unsure or wants to double check, they should terminate the call and contact their bank on their published number on a separate phone."
