Two teenagers have appeared in court over a supermarket fight in Nottingham that left one boy injured.

Police went to the Tesco Extra store, in Jennison Street, Bulwell, at about 21:10 GMT on Monday.

Three suspects were arrested inside the shop, while three others were tracked down in the nearby woodland by a police helicopter.

Two youths, 15 and 17 - who cannot be named for legal reasons - have been charged with affray and appeared at Nottingham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old has also been charged with possession of a knife in a public place.

They have both been remanded in custody until their next appearance at the same court on 17 January.

One teenager suffered an injury to his thumb and received first aid treatment during the incident.

Four others, all teenagers, who were arrested on suspicion of affray, have since been released on bail.
