Motorcyclist, aged in his 20s, dies in A12 crash

A motorcyclist, aged in his 20s, has died in a crash involving a stationary van on the A12, police said.

The collision happened on at Blythburgh, near Southwold, at about 19:30 BST on Thursday.

Suffolk Police said the male motorcyclist died at the scene.

The road was closed for more than seven hours while investigations took place.

Police have appealed for witnesses and for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
