Arrest after report of man with gun in city street

Armed police were sent to the scene after reports of a man with a handgun

A man has been on arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm in a city street.

Armed police were sent to Cardiff's Tudor Street at about 13:20 BST after reports of a person with a handgun.

The 32-year-old was taken to Cardiff Bay police station.

South Wales Police said no-one was believed to have been injured.
