Film location scouts watch Guernsey movie premiere

Major film location scouts are expected to attend the premiere of a Guernsey made film.
'Last Flamingo of the Red Summer' premieres at the Prince Charles Cinema in London on Friday.
Guernsey filmmaker and actor Cameron Ashplant said he hoped they would consider Guernsey as a film location in the future.
It is expected scouts from movies such as Wonder Woman, Jurassic World, Downton Abbey, and the Jersey movie 'Beast' will be there watching.
The picture has been shot entirely in Guernsey by Mr Ashplant.
VisitGuernsey has sponsored the film's premiere, with the intention of demonstrating the location is open for business as a growing player in the British film industry.
One of the actors featuring in the film, Brandon Ashplant, said: "Hopefully it will really draw attention to Guernsey and the amazing location that we have here."
Fellow actor Dean Hollingsworth, said he "hopes it inspires younger actors and filmmakers to get involved" in the future.
The picture follows a man's twisted attempt to exterminate the last indigenous man in a small American community.
Following the premiere, the film will be shown in cinemas, including the Mallard in Guernsey from 9 February.
Finding the crew
Another Guernsey producer and actress, Charlotte Potter, said the island was well on its way to becoming a great place to make movies.
"Location-wise we have it down, it's just finding the crew," she said.
Ms Potter said it was difficult to find full-time sound production, effects and makeup crews.
She said: "These people do exist, but it's hard to get someone for an extended period of time.
"Give it another year, then we really will see what Guernsey can do."
