Thousands in losses for charity after break-in
Marie Miner said volunteers had been left disheartened

A charity will be left thousands of pounds out of pocket after a burglary at its shop.
Volunteers arrived at the St Giles Hospice store in Bloxwich on Tuesday to discover the break-in, along with blood on the floor.
Raiders had caused extensive damage to the shop, including smashed glass.
Volunteer Marie Miner said the incident would cost the charity more than £5k in lost revenue.
"It's not a nice feeling," she said.
"Volunteers turn up to do their work for charity and it's quite disheartening to see somebody has entered the premises and caused quite a lot of damage."

Ms Milner added they will not be able to reopen the store until all repairs were done, costin them thousands each day.
"It was scary for the volunteers turning up with blood everywhere," she continued.
"We didn't know whether there was still someone in the building. Hopefully we can move on from this."
