Police hunt after teenager stabbed in face

A teenage boy has been stabbed in the face, police said.
Warwickshire Police received a report at 12:51 BST a teenager had been stabbed in Bedworth town centre, in Warwickshire.
It is believed the "extremely serious" attack occurred about 10 minutes earlier, in Church Way at the junction with All Saint’s Square.
The boy's injuries were serious but not thought to be life-threatening at this time, police said.
Armed officers were sent to the secne and a cordon was in place around Church Way.
The incident was reported after the victim arrived at hospital, police said.
Det Sgt Suzanne Charlton from Warwickshire Police CID said: "This was an extremely serious attack that has left a young boy with serious injuries.
"It is important that anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help us locate the person responsible gets in contact with us urgently.
“At this time, we are treating it as an isolated incident.”
Supt Steve Davies said: "Officers are currently trying to locate the suspect and we’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information that could help us to identify the suspect to call us urgently."
