A section of a major route in Dorset was closed after a broken down lorry leaked oil across the carriageway.

The A35 was shut in both directions between the A3052 near Charmouth and the B3165 near Raymond's Hill.

National Highways said a specialist team was sent to the stretch of road to clear the "significant" spill.

The road reopened bothways shortly after 08:00 BST.
