A ferry operator sailing between Guernsey and Jersey has carried more than 25,000 passengers since its launch in June, its boss has said.

Islands Unlimited CEO, Chad Murray said the level of use over the past four months "shows how valued this service has become".

Mr Murray said the company had now released its full schedule for next year, running from March to the end of October 2026.

"Reliable ferry links are vital for tourism, business and community connections, and we're proud to be part of that story," he said.

'Grow our network'

Mr Murray said the company was "playing a growing role in supporting the wider Channel Islands economy".

He has previously spoken about how successful the firm's first season had been, saying it was exploring "how we can grow our network" to incorporate some of the other islands within the Bailiwick.

He said there would be a winter pause from the end of October before the service resumed in March.

In 2026 they would be offering regular daily sailings between Guernsey and Jersey with one hour journey times, he added.
