Foxes are being shot dead in a school field in Cheltenham, reports Gloucestershire Live. It describes a witness saying a man dragged a dead animal by its hind legs and threw it in the back of a car.

This bodycam footage posted by Bristol Live shows a police officer throwing a woman to the ground, committing "gross misconduct by using excessive force" in April 2023. The paper says PC Ashley Tucker was given a final written warning for five years following a police misconduct hearing.

And Salisbury might be getting new toilets on Market Square, as the ones underground are turned into storage, reports the Journal.

What to watch on social media

Many people are talking about Cheltenham Festival, which starts today.

There are some striking pictures of horses on the gallops as the sun rises on the racecourse. And this post tells of a father who had been to Cheltenham Festival 50 times in his life, but his son - who has been 20 times - sadly won't be by his side this year.

There will be traffic enforcement cameras at "four problem areas" in Bristol from next week, with more to come says the city council.
