A play area in St Helier could have new and improved equipment if planning is approved.

The infrastructure department has put forward plans to replace the current equipment at Millennium Park, because it is worn out and not accessible to all.

The new facilities are set to stay on the same site, with two separate areas for younger and older children.

Planners said the different pieces of equipment would appeal to different senses to make it suitable for all children.
