Priory Way will be closed overnight for improvement work

A road that links to the A63 will be closed for three nights next week for improvement work.

Hull City Council said there would be a full closure on Priory Way between 20:00 and 06:00 BST, from Tuesday 26 to Friday 29 August.

It will allow work to be carried out from the junction with Saxon Way to the top of the A63 westbound exit slip road.

The authority said the work, which would include resurfacing and new road markings, was being being done in response to feedback from motorists.

Mark Ieronimo, the council's cabinet portfolio holder for transport and infrastructure, said the decision to do it overnight and during school holidays was to limit disruption.

There will be a diversion in place.
