Police warned they would be taking "anti-social behaviour very seriously" after two people were seen riding dirt bikes dangerously in a city centre.

Cambridgeshire Police said the motorcyclists were reported to have swerved around members of the public near Cathedral Square, Peterborough, at about 19:30 BST on Saturday.

The force released images of two people they wanted to speak with and appealed for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch "as a matter of urgency".

PC Tom Cates, who is investigating the incident, said: "This was incredibly dangerous and could have resulted in serious injuries to members of the public."
