A teenager has denied causing the death of a woman who died after being hit by a car.

Mary Kinsey, 74, from Felixstowe, Suffolk, died in November following the collision on Church Road in the town.

Lewis Meadows, 18, of Cliff Road, Felixstowe, denied causing death by dangerous driving, along with several other offences.

He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court for a plea hearing and a trial date was set for 26 January 2026.

Mr Meadows also denied aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop after a collision, using a motor vehicle without insurance and failing to report a collision.
