Islanders have been thanked for their initial feedback to the draft Local Planning Brief (LPB) on St Peter Port and St Sampson Harbour.
The report suggests 18 policies on areas including transport and parking, flood risks and creating a more people-focused environment.
Islanders have until 2 December to provide further comments to the Development & Planning Authority (DPA).
Deputy Victoria Oliver, president of the DPA, said the representations received so far "have provided valuable feedback".
"We’ve listened to the initial representations which we’ve received and are supportive of a number of the points raised," she said.
A public hearing on the draft LPB is provisionally scheduled for the week starting 9 December.
The draft LPB will then be presented to the States in April 2025, and subject to approval, will become a formal amendment to the Island Development Plan.
