A recycling centre in a Somerset town will close for one day for resurfacing work.

Yeovil Recycling site, on Artillery Road, is shut on Friday 8 November with Somerset Council’s contractor, Biffa, carrying out maintenance.

The council said residents wanting to access the site should visit their other nearest site with the closest being Chard and Somerton.

The work is only expected to take one day and the site will reopen on Saturday 9 November.
